The 304 stainless steel double float side mount level switch is designed for more precise liquid level monitoring with dual float control in tanks and containers. What is a double-ball side mount stainless steel float level switch used for?

This float switch is mainly used for liquid level detection and automatic start-stop control in tanks, reservoirs, chemical containers, oil tanks, sewage treatment systems, and industrial automation equipment. What material is the float switch made of?

Is this switch normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC)?

It supports both. The float balls can be manually reversed by 180° rotation, allowing users to switch between: Normally Open (NO) Normally Closed (NC) Factory default is usually the lower-open setting, but users can adjust according to actual control requirements. This provides more flexibility for different installation and automation systems.

Can the float switch directly control pumps or solenoid valves?

No. Because the internal reed switch carries only a small current, it should not directly control high-power loads such as: Water pumps Solenoid valves AC contactors Large alarms Recommended solution: For alarms or solenoid valves → use a small relay (such as HH52P / HH54P) For water pumps → use relay + AC contactor Direct connection may damage the reed contacts and shorten service life.
