Description
This plastic float switch is a lightweight and cost-effective solution for automatic level control. Made of high-quality polypropylene (PP), it features excellent corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, and stable performance.
The sensor operates using a reed switch and a magnetic float. As the liquid level changes, the float moves accordingly, triggering the reed switch to open or close, enabling accurate and reliable level detection.
With its simple structure, easy installation, and flexible design, it is widely used in household appliances, water systems, and industrial applications.
Features
- Made of PP material with low density and light weight
- Cost-effective solution for budget projects
- Suitable for mildly corrosive environments
- Excellent electrical insulation performance
- ilt-in annular magnet for precise switching control
- Reed switch design requires no external power
- Easy installation with low wiring cost
- Flexible design adaptable to different applications

Accessories
Is this float switch normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC)?
It can be configured as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) by reversing the float direction during installation.
What liquids is this product suitable for?
It is suitable for water, clean liquids, and mildly corrosive media compatible with PP material.
Can it be used in high-temperature environments?
PP float switches are typically suitable for moderate temperature applications. For high-temperature environments, stainless steel models are recommended.
How does the float switch control liquid level?
The float contains a magnet that activates a reed switch as the liquid level rises or falls, generating an ON/OFF signal for control systems.
Is installation complicated?
No. It features a simple threaded installation, making it easy to install on tanks or containers.
Is PP material reliable for long-term use?
Yes. PP (polypropylene) offers good chemical resistance, low water absorption, and stable performance, making it suitable for long-term use.
