Description
The EFQS-HM180 automatic float level switch is a high-temperature resistant liquid level controller designed for reliable operation in demanding environments. Compared to the standard micro switch version, this model adopts a mercury switch, allowing it to withstand temperatures up to 180°C while maintaining excellent stability and accuracy.
The device features a 304 stainless steel housing combined with a high-temperature resistant silicone cable, ensuring durability under extreme heat, humidity, and corrosive conditions. The built-in mercury contact provides precise and reliable switching without mechanical wear, making it ideal for long-term continuous operation.
Widely used in tanks, wells, and industrial systems, the EFQS-HM180 is suitable for water, oil, and weak chemical liquids, especially in high-temperature applications such as boilers and heating systems.

What makes EFQS-H different from a standard float switch?
EFQS-H uses a 304 stainless steel housing combined with a sealed industrial-grade structure, offering better durability and suitability for both household and industrial liquid level control compared to basic plastic float switches.
Can this float switch work in dirty or sewage water?
Yes. The sealed structure and corrosion-resistant materials allow stable operation in sewage, wastewater, and slightly contaminated liquids.
How is the switching signal generated?
The internal switch is mechanically triggered by the float movement. As the liquid level rises or falls, the float tilts and activates the internal contact to switch the circuit.
What role does the counterweight play?
The stainless steel counterweight helps stabilize the cable position and ensures the float operates at a fixed switching point for more accurate level control.
Is the cable suitable for outdoor or humid environments?
Yes. The silicone cable is flexible, anti-aging, and resistant to moisture and chemical exposure, making it suitable for harsh environments.
What installation conditions should be considered?
The switch should be installed vertically or with free swing space to ensure the float can move naturally without obstruction.
Can it control both filling and draining systems?
Yes. It can be used for both filling control and drainage control systems, depending on the wiring configuration.
What type of maintenance does it require?
It is a low-maintenance device. Regular inspection for cable condition and float movement is usually sufficient.
Is it suitable for small tanks or limited space installations?
Yes. Its compact structure allows installation in small tanks and narrow spaces where traditional level switches may not fit.
What is the expected service life in real use?
Thanks to the mercury switch design without mechanical wear, it offers longer service life and stable performance in high-temperature environments.
How to choose between micro switch and mercury switch?
The micro switch type is suitable for general applications, while the mercury switch type is ideal for high-temperature environments and more stable switching performance.
Is installation complicated?
No, the installation is simple. The float switch can be installed directly using the cable and counterweight for positioning.
